Description

Teachers will engage with the features of effective math instruction along with engagement strategies.

Objectives

  • Investigate features of effective instruction through research and practice
  • Examine relationships between effective teaching and learning
  • Connect the features of effective instruction to the MTSS framework
  • Analyze current math textbook/resources for features of effective instruction
  • Construct plans to strengthen math instruction in our classrooms

PRESENTERS:  

  • Dr. Ryan Lyson, SEEC Math Specialist
  • Brandie Ulland, SEEC Professional Learning Specialist

DELIVERY:  This opportunity will be delivered over 2-full days Face-to-Face.

NOTE: This event is being hosted by Jamestown School District.  They will allow a maximum of 20 additional educators from the SEEC region to attend at a cost of $25 per person.

AUDIENCE:  Elementary & Secondary Classroom Teachers, Instructional Coaches, Administrators, Curriculum Director

CREDIT: 1 credit available through Valley City State University.
